Japanese Restaurants

Neko Ramen Green

At Neko Ramen Green, you will first be seduced by the atmosphere: from the murals to the Japanese music in the background, including the intimate seating area (picture 1 below).

But once the food arrives, you will definitely be in love with the place. The chicken karaage are crispy and very tasty, and the ramen are some of the best we had in Paris. The broth is full of flavours and the toppings are really good.

Opening hours : Open everyday from noon to 2:30pm and from 6:30pm to 10:30pm.

Price : Chicken karaage side 6€, Chicken ramen 10,5€

Ramen Wang

Ramen Wang is our all time favorite ramen in all of Paris, hands down. The broth is rich yet delicate, the noodles are excellent, the chicken slices are really tender and the marinated egg is perfectly cooked. An easy 10 out of 10.

Plus, the setting is really intimate, there are a few tables and a couple where you can sit on the floor.

Location : 20 Rue des plantes, 75014

Opening hours : Open from noon to 2:30pm and from 7pm to 10:30pm. Closed on Sundays

Price : Gyoza 8€, Chicken ramen 16€

Gyoza House

Gyoza House is the perfect place in Paris to eat gyozas. They make more than 20 different flavours, all delicious and the gyozas are perfectly cooked. The cucumber salad and the black mushrooms salad are also great side dishes. Plus, the lunch menu prices are really fair.

Location : 20 (and 57) Rue du Chateaudun, 75009

Opening hours : Open from noon to 3pm and from 6pm to 9pm. Closed on Sundays

Price : 6 gyozas for 8,5€ and 10 gyozas for 12,5€.

Korean Restaurant

Hanwoo Haussmann

If you’re looking for a good Korean barbecue, look no further than Hanwoo Haussmann. This restaurant offers a great choice of meat, and you can have 4 sides plus unlimited rice in the BBQ menu. The decor is again very well done, and the ambiance is quite pleasant.

Location : 63 Rue de Clichy, 75009

Opening hours : Open everyday from noon to 2:30pm and from 7pm to 10:30pm.

Price : Korean barbecue around 24 euros per person.

Chinese Restaurants

Tran Tran Zai

Tran Tran Zai has several locations all over Paris, each has their own decor but the menu is the same. The wonton noodle soup and the pork noodle soup are absolutely delicious, and you can choose your level of spiciness (2-3 is already a bit spicy). Their gyozas are also very tasty. The service is quick, the food is good, the setting is beautiful and the prices are reasonable: a 10 out of 10.

Location : 94 Rue Saint Denis, 75001 / 47 Boulevard du Montparnasse, 75006 / 3, Rue de l’école Polytechnique, 75005 / 23 Rue du Faubourg Saint Denis, 75010

Opening hours : Everyday from noon to 11pm (from noon to 3pm and from 6:30pm to 10:30pm for the one in the 5th arrondissement)

Price : 5 pork dumplings for 7€, noodle soup between 12-14€

My Noodles

A bit similar to Tran Tran Zai, My Noodles is another great location to eat Chinese noodle dishes. I don’t have the pictures anymore but trust me, it is a great address!

Location : 129 Boulevard du Montparnasse, 75006

Opening hours : Open from 11:30am to 2:30pm and from 6:30pm to 10:30pm. Closed on Tuesdays.

Price : 5 gyozas for 7,5€, noodles between 10-14€

La taverne de Zhao

La Taverne de Zhao is another Chinese restaurant, serving dumplings, noodles and baos. Absolutely recommend trying their Xiao Long Bao and Biang Biang beef noodles. If you have room for dessert they make an incredible mango sticky rice !

Location : 2 Rue Molière, 75001 / 16 Rue Saint Augustin, 75002 / 82 Rue Mazarine, 75006 / 49 Rue des Vinaigriers, 75010 / 67 Rue de la Roquette, 75011 / 11 Rue Delambre, 75014 / 59 Rue des Dames, 75017 / 42 Rue de Ménilmontant, 75020

Opening hours : Open from noon to 2:30pm and from 9pm to 10:30pm. (Except for the locations in the 2nd and 6th arrondissement, which are open from 11:30am to 11pm)

Price : 6 gyozas for 7,8€, 4 baos for 8,5€, noodles between 12-14€

Vietnamese Restaurant

Hanoi 1988

Lastly, if you want to try a Vietnamese restaurant in Paris, I can suggest Hanoi 1988. The stir-fried beef is delicious and the Pho is full of flavours.

Location : 72 Quai des Orfèvres, 75001

Opening hours : Open from noon to 5pm and from 7pm to 11pm. On Saturdays and Sundays, it is open from noon to 11pm continuously
