Of course, I saved the best ones for last.
Now let’s dig in and find your perfect cookie to try in Paris !
BO&MIE bakeries have became quite renowned for all their pastries including the famous New York roll, but their hazelnut or chocolate & sea salt cookies are indulgent, soft and simply just really good. I did put this bakery in this list because they also make cookie shots; it is a cookie shaped like a shooter with a delicious creamy hazelnut spread in the center.
Location : 6 locations in Paris : 18 R. de Turbigo (2nd), 359 Rue Saint-Martin (3rd), 91 Rue de Rivoli (1st), 48 Rue de Rivoli (4th), 5 Bd Saint-Michel, (5th), 13 Bd Montmartre (9th)
Opening hours : Open everyday from 7:30am to 8pm, and from 8am to 8pm on Sundays on all locations.
Price : 3,9€ for a cookie, 4,7€ for the hazelnut cookie shot.

Coming from London, Ben’s Cookies are less chunky yet still very generous with various flavours, our favorites being the milk chocolate & peanuts, and the praline one. Bonus point because they are among the cheapest in Paris.
Location : 68 Rue de Rivoli (4th)
Opening hours : Open everyday from 10am to 8pm, and from 11am to 7pm on Sundays.
Price : 2,95€ for a cookie

Fluffy’s is a brunch and bakery specialised in everything soft and fluffy, as their name states. Their brioche French toast is rich and satisfying, while their cookies are the classic soft-yet-crispy, rich-but-not-too-sweet, homemade kind you’re sure to love !
Location : 44 Rue de Cléry (2nd)
Opening hours : Open everyday from 9am to 4:30pm, and from 11am to 6pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
Price : 3€ for a cookie

Next up is Mamiche, a famous bakery located both in 9th and 10th arrondissement. They make delicious bread and croissants, but the cookie is also worth a detour. If there is a downside, I would say it is little bit too greasy for my taste, but the dark chocolate and sea salt combo is a hit.
Location : 32 Rue du Château d’Eau, 75010 / 45 Rue Condorcet, 75009
Opening hours : Open from 8am to 8pm (7pm on Saturdays), closed on Sundays and Mondays.
Price : 3,6€ for a cookie.

In 8th place is Scoop Me A Cookie – this is where you come for original flavor combinations. Think matcha and chocolate milk, dark chocolate and peanut fudge, or black sesame and gianduja.
Location : 5 locations in Paris : 57 Rue Oberkampf (11th) – 38 Rue de Bretagne (3rd) – 72 Rue Legendre (17th) – 12 Rue Brochant (17th) – 90 Rue du Commerce (15th)
Opening hours : Open everyday from 10am to 8pm on all locations.
Price : Around 3,5€ for a cookie (up to 4,8€ for the pistachio one).

Quatre Heures – 4 o’clock in French also means “goûter” — the afternoon sweet treat kids (and adults!) enjoy when returning from school.
Here the flavours are raw, the pistachio is strong and unsweetened, the nuts are roasted and caramelised, and the chocolate is very tasty. Plus the cookies are reasonably priced.
Location : 2 locations in Paris : 113 Rue Cambronne (15th) – 95 Rue de Ménilmontant (20th)
Opening hours : Open from 11am to 7pm, closed on Mondays and Tuesdays for both locations and also on Sundays for the store in Cambronne.
Price : 3,8€ for a cookie (95g) and 2,9€ for the small ones (70g).

Melkies is another address with unique flavours: from the praline black sesame to the candied peanut (as pictured below), including the Dubaï pistachio. Those melt-in-your-mouth cookies have deep flavours and yet perfectly balanced, in short : another cookie shop to remember when a craving hits.
Location : 65 Rue Notre Dame de Nazareth, 75003
Opening hours : Open from noon to 7 pm (until 6pm on Saturdays). Closed on Sundays.
Price : 3,6€ to 4,3€ for a cookie

Babka Zana is famous for their delicious babka, a sweet braided bread filled with chocolate, cinnamon, or other flavors, popular in Eastern European cuisine. But today it is their milk chocolate and tahini cookie that conquered our hearts. It is indulgent, not too sweet and perfectly balanced with the sea salt sprinkled on top. Definitely unique and worth trying at least once.
Location : 65 Rue Condorcet, 75009 (They also have a corner at Galeries Lafayette Haussmann).
Opening hours : Open from 8 am to 5:30 pm from Tuesday to Thursday, until 6pm on Friday and Saturday, and from 9am to 2pm on Sundays. Closed on Mondays.
Price : 3,9€ for a cookie

On the fourth place is Pépite Cookie. They make chunky cookies with a crispy outside and gooey inside. Their dark chocolate and peanut cookie is excellent, as well as the milk chocolate one.
Location : 13 Rue du Temple, 75004
Opening hours : Open everyday from 10 am to 8 pm (and until 11pm on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays)
Price : 4,5€ for the big ones,(as pictured below on photos 1 and 2), 3,2€ for the classics (picture 3), and 1,2€ for the bite-sized ones.

Ok, things are getting serious now ! On the 3rd place of the podium is the incredible fonkie in Boulangerie Michalak. The renowned baker opened a bakery in the 10th arrondissement and I can’t recommend enough to try both the pecan and gianduja cookie and its take on the brookie, but with a chocolate fondant layer and valrhona chocolate and sea salt cookie layer. It’s to die for.
While you’re there, try the Croque Fromage and the eggplant caviar-feta one as well, I don’t remember how it’s called but it was delicious.
Location : 60 Rue du Faubourg Poissonnière (10th)
Opening hours : Open from 8:30am to 7:30pm (7pm on Saturday and Monday), closed on Sundays
Price : 5,5€ for the fonkie, 5,2€ for the cookie

My second favorite was Puffy, cookies are chunky, served warm and gooey. There is not that many flavours, only the timeless favorites such as chocolate chips and hazelnuts, dark chocolate or peanuts. All flavours are a hit but I have to admit the peanut and chocolate is absolutely incredible.
Location : 4 locations in Paris : 65 Rue Condorcet (9th) – 7 Pl. Saint-Augustin (8th) – 101 Av. Victor Hugo (16th)
Opening hours : Depends on the location, so you might want to check on Google Maps, but for most it is open everyday from 8am to 6pm at least.
Price : Between 3,5€ and 5€ for a cookie

Alright, here we are, first position. This was an easy choice to make, Crème cookies are very chunky, crispy on the outside yet soft on the inside, the perfect amount of chocolate chips and very tasty ! A 10 out of 10 for Crème, located in the 4th arrondissement, in a small shop with only 4 cookies :
Classic milk chocolate chips – Chocolate cookie with white chocolate chips – Miso cookie with white chocolate chips – Walnut cookie with dark chocolate chips. I tried the first two and cannot decide between both, they are equally incredible.
Location : 61 Rue du Temple (4th)
Opening hours : Everyday from 10am to 8pm
Price : 4,5€ for a cookie

Lastly, I tried Cedric Grolet Café so you don’t have to. Cookies are 5€ each and presented in pizza-slice shapes, in a pizza box.
They are well presented (even though you can clearly see in the picture below that the cookie itself is very dry, and drowned in sugary spreads) but awfully sweet and heavy, and that’s from someone who likes sweet. You don’t taste any flavours such as the hazelnut or pecan, only sugar, which is why I would’t recommend them AT ALL. It is not worth neither the price nor the wait.

That’s it for my recommendations on the food best cookies to try in Paris. We had a wonderful time trying all the best addresses there, and I’m sure you will too !
